Presenting original sacred music and delivering a lecture at the Alliance of Christian Musicians meeting in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. The title of the lecture is "Style, Culture and and Obligations of Imagination."
Dr. Cameron LaBarr directs the premiere of "Venite et Videte" in the Duke University chapel. "Venite et Videte" is an a capella SATB work. The text comes from Psalm 66.
David Tahere performs "The Virtuous Soul" and "Far Down the Ages" in a faculty recital at Covenant College.
David Tahere premieres "The Virtuous Soul" in Squires Recital Hall at Lee University, at 7:30 on a program of music by composer Alan Elkins and myself. David will also sing my song, "Far Down the Ages," and I will perform "Rhapsody and Reason." "The Virtuous Soul" is a setting of the poem "Virtue" by George Herbert.
